Is there an application fee? Yes, it is $25.00 per adult and is non-refundable.
Is my information kept confidential? Yes. We only release information to others with your written authorization.
Do you allow pets? At some of our properties pets are allowed, and the typical pet deposit is $250.00 per pet. The deposit required may be higher in some cases. Whether or not pets are allowed, and the amount of the deposit, is set at the sole discretion of the property owner and Sweet Properties.
Do you allow co-signers? No
Do you offer a lease with the option to buy? No. We do not sell property.
Typical lease period requirements: House - 1 year lease required, Duplex - 6 month lease required, Apartment - month to month rental agreement.
Do you supply insurance to protect the rental in the event of a fire or burglary? The owner only provides insurance to protect the structure; none of the personal items in the home are insured. Who can I contact for moving information ? Sweet Properties does not have a moving service. However, you can contact Modesto Transfer & Storage Welcome To Modesto Transfer And Storage or look in the phone book for other moving companies to assist you with your move.
What is your key check out policy? We require a picture I.D. and a $20.00 cash deposit to check out keys to our vacant properties. We check out keys Monday – Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (unless the property is over 10 miles away then we stop checking out the keys a half hour earlier).
If you wish to check out the keys to a vacant property, you don’t need an advance appointment, just come to our office during the hours specified above; bring your picture I.D. & $20.00 (cash) and you are welcome to check out the keys. We do recommend you call our 24 hour information line at (209) 549-1031 then dial 11, for information about the property in which you are interested. The information line will tell you if the keys are available to check out. If you need additional information you may call Glenda Carella, our Residential Rental Representative, for assistance.
